Oatmeal Cookies With Raisins, Pecans & Spices
- 2 sticks butter, softened
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves
- 3 cups quick cooking oats
- 6 oz raisins
- 1 cup pecans
- Heat oven to 300*
- beat the butter with the sugars until creamy
- add the eggs and vanilla and beat well
- in a separate bowl sift together flour, spices, baking soda & salt.
- add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture/mix well.
- stir in the oats/add the raisins and nuts/mix well
- drop the dough onto greased cookie sheets
- bake at 300* for 18 min/cool on rack
