Frying Pan Chocolate Cake
- CAKE
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 cup flour
- 3 Tblsp. cocoa
- 1 cup buttermilk (if you don't have any on hand, you can add 1 tsp. vinegar to regular milk and "make your own.")
- 1 tsps. vanilla
- ICING
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 TBS butter
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 2 TBS kayro syrup
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 10 or 11 inch frying pan/skillet.
- Mix all ingredients for cake in bowl. Pour into skillet and bake for 35 minutes.
- While cake is baking, prepare icing. Put all ingredients into a small saucepan. Mix and bring to a light boil. Boil for 1 minute. Pour hot icing over cake as soon as it comes out of the oven.
- Let cool and enjoy!
