Oreo Peanut Butter Bars

  1. Oreo Peanut Butter Bars
  2. Line a 9x9 pan with parchment paper or lightly grease the bottom. I prefer lining the pan with parchment paper for all bar cookies because once cooled you can lift the entire batch out of the pan once they are cooled, making them much easier to cut evenly.
  3. Min together:
  4. 2 cups Oreo cookie crumbs
  5. 4 tbsp sugar
  6. 1/2 cup melted butter
  7. Press into the bottom of the prepared pan and bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees F. Cool completely.
  8. For the filling mix together:
  9. 1/2 cup melted butter
  10. 1 3/4 cups icing sugar (powdered sugar)
  11. 3/4 cup graham crumbs
  12. 1 cup peanut butter
  13. Mix together until completely smooth, then spread evenly on the cooled cookie crumb base. Chill for several hours.
  14. Melt together:
  15. 1/4 cup butter
  16. 3/4 cup chocolate chips
  17. Spread evenly over the top of the peanut butter layer.
  18. Chill to let the chocolate set up before cutting into bars or squares.
