Napa Salad Cabbage
- Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
- 1 head Napa cabbage -- finely chopped
- 3 green onions (3-4 depending on taste)--chopped
- 1/2 cup salad oil
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 2 1/2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1/2 cup sugar (plus 2 more tablespoons) {I use sweet/low}
- 1/3 cup butter -- melted
- 3/4 cup slivered almonds
- 2 pks Ramen noodles, crushed (oriental)
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds (optional)
- Step 1: Mix cabbage and onions and refrigerate
- Step 2: Put salad oil, vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, and ramen seasoning in a sealed container. Shake until mixed and refrigerate
- Step 3: Melt butter in a skillet, add almonds, noodles, and sesame seeds(optional). Brown ingredients until crunchy.
- Step 4: About 30-45 minutes before serving, shake oil mixture and pour over Part 1. Just before serving, add Part 3 and mix well.
