G'S Pound Cake
- 2 cups Cake flour
- 1 tablespoon Baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1 pound Butter, softened
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- 1 cup Packed light brown sugar
- 5 eggs
- 3 tablespoons Sour cream
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoons Lemon extract
- Preheat oven to 325 deg F. Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together into a large bowl; set aside.
- In a separate mixing bowl mix together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar with a whisk or electric mixer until creamed. Beat in eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Whisk in sour cream, then the vanilla and lemon extract. Add flour mixture, folding to combine thoroughly.
- Turn batter into a greased bundt pan. Bake for 1 hour or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
