Farmer'S Strata
- 1 lb. bacon, cut in half-inch pieces
- 2 cups chopped, cubed ham
- 1 small onion
- 10 slices white bread, cubed
- 1 cup cooked potato, cubed
- 3 cups (12 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 eggs
- 3 cups milk
- 1 tbsp. Worceshtershire sauce
- 1 tsp.ground mustard powder
- salt & pepper
- In a skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Add ham and onion. Cook and stir until onion is tender; drain.
- In a greased 13x9x2-inch baking dish, layer half of the bread cubes, potatoes and cheese. Top with all of the bacon mixture.
- Repeat second layer of bread cubes, potatoes and cheese.
- In a bowl, beat eggs. Add mik, worcestershire, mustard, salt and pepper. Pour over layered bread mixture. Cover and chill overnight.
- Remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Pre-heat oven to 325 degree F.
- Bake, uncovered, for 65-70 minutes.
