Venison Liver Pate

  1. Remove skin from the liver and cut into 1-inch cubes
  2. Combine liver and whiskey and let marinate overnight
  3. Dice bacon, render fat
  4. add onions and garlic and cook until bacon is crisp
  5. place bacon and onion mixture into food processor
  6. process until smooth
  7. Add liver and whiskey, process more til smooth
  8. Add salt, pepper, sugar, and cream, process again
  9. Place mix into small loaf pan and bake in at water bath
  10. at 350 degrees for 45min or until temp is 160 F
  11. Let cool and use as a spread
