Sour Cream Coffee Cake

  1. Mix nut mixture together, set aside.
  2. Grease tube pan. Sift flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Beat together butter and white sugar, until fluffy. Add vanilla, and eggs one at a time and beat well. Blend in sour cream and gradually add sifted ingredients, beat well.
  3. Place 1/3 cake batter in pan, then add half nut mixture, and repeat ending with cake batter. Mix vanilla and H2O, spoon over top (bottom of cake).
  4. Bake at 325 degrees for 60-70 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes.
