Chicken Swiss Bake
- 4 Chicken Breast, boneless
- 2 eggs
- cornflakes
- 4 slices of swiss cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- (if want fresh mushrooms)
- sherry to taste
- dill
- salt pepper
- Preheat oven 450 broil
- Beat eggs and marinate chicken in eggs for 1 hour (for better sticking)-
- put can of soup (not diluted) in a pot with (fresh mushrooms) a splash of sherry, dill, salt, pepper heat enough to blend- cool
- Roll chicken in corn flakes (bread crumbs will work) and saute in oil until browned. Place browned chicken pieces into 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Cover with cheese and pour cream of mushroom mix over chicken.
- can freeze at this point
- Thaw before cooking
- Cover with foil and bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Uncover last 15 minutes.
