Pecan Pie Bars

  1. CRUST
  2. Combine the crust ingredients in a bowl until well mixed and then spread on the bottom of a 9x13 baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
  3. 2 cups of flour
  4. 1/2 cup of icing sugar
  5. 1 cup of butter
  6. FILLING
  7. Cream together:
  8. 1/2 cup sugar
  9. 3 eggs
  10. Add:
  11. 1 cup light corn syrup
  12. 1 tsp vanilla
  13. 1/2 stick of butter (melted)
  14. a pinch of salt
  15. 2 cups of pecans
  16. When well mixed, pour over the baked crust and put back in the oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
