Healthy Chocolate Chip Zucchini Bread
- 1 cup apple sauce
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup white flour
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 3 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 cups shredded zucchini, squeeze a little water out
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine apple sauce, eggs and sugar in a mixing bowl. Stir well to combine.
- Add all the dry ingredients in a separate bowl, stir with a whisk. Add the dry ingredients to the apple sauce mixture. Mix well to combine.
- Stir in the zucchini and chocolate chips. Pour into a greased 9x5-inch loaf pan and bake for 65-70 minutes (until toothpick comes out clean). Let cool in the pan for 10 additional minutes. Then let loaf cool on a cooling rack.
