Breaded Tomatoes

  1. Combine tomatoes, vegetable oil, onion, salt, pepper and seasoning.
  2. Cook over medium heat until mixture boils.
  3. While tomatoes are cooking, melt butter and add flour, mixing thoroughly.
  4. Add this to the tomatoe mixture.
  5. Cook until mixture thickens. Stir to keep from sticking.
  6. Add the sugar and simmer for 2 or 3 minutes.
  7. Mix in toasted bread pieces just before serving.
