Kringle
- For the Pastry:
- I cube butter
- 1 cup flour
- 1 TBLS water
- I cup water
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup flour
- Frosting:
- 1 Cube Butter
- 1 large pkg cream cheese
- 1 box powdered sugar
- vanilla
- chopped nuts
- First
- Mix together the butter, flour and 1 TBSP water and spread onto a cookie sheet in 2 - 12"x3" rectangles
- Next
- Boil the 1 cup water with butter
- Next
- add 1 cup flour, then 3 eggs, one at a time and beat well and spread on the rectangles.
- BAKE
- 350 for 1 hr. turn off the oven and open door. let cool for 20-30 minutes
- Then
- remove from oven and cool completely
- FROSTING
- mix the frosting ingredients and spread on the cooled pastry.
- Top with chopped nuts
