Kringle

  1. First
  2. Mix together the butter, flour and 1 TBSP water and spread onto a cookie sheet in 2 - 12"x3" rectangles
  3. Next
  4. Boil the 1 cup water with butter
  5. Next
  6. add 1 cup flour, then 3 eggs, one at a time and beat well and spread on the rectangles.
  7. BAKE
  8. 350 for 1 hr. turn off the oven and open door. let cool for 20-30 minutes
  9. Then
  10. remove from oven and cool completely
  11. FROSTING
  12. mix the frosting ingredients and spread on the cooled pastry.
  13. Top with chopped nuts
