Esther'S Brownies
- 3 oz Bittersweet chocolate
- 1 oz Unsweetened chocolate
- 3/4 stick (6 TBS) Butter, margarine (if using margarine with salt, eliminate salt in recipe) or 5-6 TBS extra LIGHT olive oil
- 3/4 Cup Sugar
- 1-3 tsp Vanilla ( I like vanilla so I use 3)
- 2 Large eggs
- 1/8- 1/2 tsp salt (I use little)
- 1/2 Cup Flour
- 1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Butter and flour 8x8 pan.
- Melt together both chocolates and butter or margarine. (if using oil, add after chocolates are melted) Let cool slightly.
- Whisk in sugar and vanilla until smooth. Add one egg at a time, whisking until batter is glossy each time.
- Stir in flour and salt, then chips until combined.
- Pour into pan and bake for 25- 30 minutes. May want to check after 20 minutes.
