Srimp Wrap
- 1 tablespoon of salted butter
- 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1/2 Spanish onion
- 1 red bell pepper
- 250 gr. cleaned medium sized shrimp
- 1 cup of dry white wine
- 1 handful of fresh basil
- wheat tortillas
- Cut the onion and the cleaned red pepper in thin slices.
- Cut the basil finely without pressing.
- Melt butter in a big skillet over low heat. Add the
- olive oil once the butter has melted and rise heat to medium-high. Once the olive oil and butter are searing, add the minced garlic
- clove. Add chopped onion and cook until slightly golden.
- Add the red peppers and cook until they have softened.
- Add the shrimp and cook until orange. Add the wine and reduce heat to medium low.
- Let the sauce reduce at his temperature. Take off the heat and add the basil.
- Put the tortillas in a plate covered by a wet paper towel and microwave for 25 seconds.
- Fill tortillas with a generous serving of the shrimp mix and roll.
