Salmon In Crust
- 1 sheet puffed pastry dough (may be found in freezer section)
- 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can salmon, drained, boned and flaked
- 3/4 c. crushed saltine crackers
- 1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sour cream
- 1 onion, grated
- 3 Tbsp. melted butter
- salt, pepper, dill, garlic powder and parsley to taste
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp. water
- 2 Tbsp. sesame seed
- Roll pastry dough into a 9 x 12-inch rectangle and place on a greased cookie sheet.
- Mix together all ingredients except yolk, water and sesame seed.
- Place salmon mixture down the center of the dough rectangle.
- Fold the sides toward the center and pinch them together, forming a seam.
- Mix together the egg yolk and water; brush the top of the rectangle.
- Sprinkle sesame seed on top.
- Bake at 375u0b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Serves 4.
