Veggie Burgers
- 1/4 c. sesame seed
- 3 eggs
- 1 Tbsp. minced onion flakes
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 small clove garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 c. shredded carrots
- 1 pkg. frozen spinach
- 2 c. fresh bean sprouts
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- plain yogurt or soy sauce
- In a well-greased 1 1/2-quart casserole, place layers of well drained, thinly sliced raw potatoes.
- Sprinkle each layer with salt and pepper.
- Finely cut pimiento strips and green onion tops.
- Pour small amount of Cream Sauce over them and sprinkle with grated American cheese, using about 1/2 cup altogether.
- Repeat until casserole is filled.
- Bake at 400u0b0 for about 30 minutes, then reduce heat to 300u0b0 and continue baking for 1 more hour or until potatoes are tender.
- Keep casserole covered for the first hour, then uncover.
- Serves 8.
