Macaroni And Cheese

  1. -combine bread crumbs and 3 tbl. butter
  2. -cook noodles in 6 qts water with 1 tbl salt
  3. -heat 5 tbl butter in pot over med high heat until foaming
  4. -add flour and mustard and whisk for about 1 minute
  5. -gradually whisk in milk and bring to a boil stirring constantly
  6. -reduce to medium heat and simmer for about 5 minutes
  7. -remove from heat and whisk in the cheese and 1 tsp salt for about 6 minutes
  8. -combine cheese mixture with noodles in a 9x13 baking dish
  9. covering with crumbs
  10. -broil for 3-5 minutes.
