Poultry Hawaiian(Low-Fat)

  1. Saute onion and garlic in vegetable oil.
  2. Stir in carrots, green pepper and celery.
  3. Add chicken broth.
  4. Cover and simmer 5 minutes.
  5. Blend soy sauce and cornstarch until smooth in a separate container.
  6. Add pineapple liquid; blend.
  7. Add liquid mixture to vegetable mixture.
  8. Cook, stirring often, until sauce thickens.
  9. Boil 5 minutes.
  10. Stir in pineapple, mushrooms, water chestnuts and poultry.
  11. Cover and heat slowly.
  12. Serve over rice or noodles.
