Oven Roasted Green Beans With Garlic
- non-stick cooking spray
- 1 lb. fresh green beans
- 1 large onion
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- salt
- ground black pepper
- 1 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
- Coat a 13 x 9 inch baking pan with cooking spray.
- Rinse beans and trim off tough ends. Place beans in the baking pan.
- Peel the onion and cut into 1/4-inch rings.
- Separate the rings and scatter them over the beans.
- Peel the garlic.
- Cut the cloves in half and scatter over the onions.
- Drizzle with oil.
- Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.
- Bake uncovered for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Transfer beans to a serving bowl.
- Drizzle with vinegar and stir well.
- Serve hot or at room temperature.
