Chili Rellenos Bake

  1. In a large skillet, crumble together the beef and chorizo or sausage.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring until meat is browned. Add onion and garlic.
  3. Cook until onion is limp.
  4. Drain off fat. Line a 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish with half of the chilies.
  5. Top with 1 1/2 cups cheese.
  6. Add the meat mixture and top with remaining chilies.
  7. Set aside.
