Meatballs With Pineapple Sweet N' Sour Sauce
- 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 14 oz. can pineapple tidbits (reserving juice)
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. pineapple juice
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 3 tbsp. cornstarch
- Mix together first 5 ingredients. Shape into balls and brown. Put in slow cooker or casserole dish.
- In a pot combine next ingredients. Bring to a boil. Add cornstarch to vinegar. Stir until smooth. Add to boiling mixture, cook until thick. Pour over meatballs. Cover.
- Bake in 350 degree F oven for 30 minutes.Or in a slow cooker for 6-8 hours.
