Favourite Beef Stew

  1. Layer in order up to broth.
  2. Low 8 to 9 hours.
  3. Remove beef and vegetables & cover.
  4. Remove & discard bay leaf.
  5. Turn cooker to High and cover.
  6. Mix flour & water in small bowl until smooth.
  7. Add 1/2 c cooking liquid; mix well.
  8. Stir mixture into cooker.
  9. Cover and cook 15 minutes or until thickened.
  10. Pour over meat and vegetables.
