Freezer Peanut Butter-Choc. Chip Cookies
- 1/3 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 1/2 c. crunchy peanut butter
- 3/4 c. firmly packed dark brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/3 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate mini morsels
- Cream butter, peanut
- butter
- and sugar at medium speed of an electric mixer
- until
- light
- and fluffy.
- Add egg, milk and vanilla, beating
- well.
- Combine
- flour, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture, mixing well.
- Stir in chocolate morsels. Shape dough into
- 2
- logs;trap
- in waxed paper and freeze at least 8
- hours.
- Cut
- dough
- into
- 1/4-inch
- slices; place on ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake
- att50u0b0 for 10 to 12 minutes. Let stand 1 minute; remove cookies to wire racks and cool completely.
- Yields about 4 dozen.
