Tequila Salad

  1. Shake reserved pineapple syrup, 1/4 cup lime juice, the sugar, tequila, oil and 1/4 teaspoon salt in tightly covered container. Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
  2. Cut avocados lengthwise in half; remove pits.
  3. Peel avocados; cut into 1/2-inch pieces.
  4. Sprinkle pieces with lime juice.
  5. Cut pineapple slices in half.
  6. Pare and section grapefruit and oranges; cut sections in half, if desired. Just before serving, toss avocado and fruit; place on salad greens. Sprinkle with walnuts and salt.
  7. Serve with dressing.
  8. Yields 8 servings.
