Tomato Quiche

  1. Fry 1/2 pound hot
  2. sausage.
  3. Blot
  4. grease.
  5. Set
  6. aside. Bake pie shell for
  7. 8
  8. minutes
  9. at 425u0b0.
  10. Set aside.
  11. Dip each tomato slice
  12. in
  13. 1/4
  14. cup flour seasoned with salt and coarse pepper. Saute
  15. tomatoes quickly in 2 tablespoons cooking oil. Set aside. Arrange
  16. 1/2
  17. cup
  18. sliced olives and 2 tablespoons minced onions in bottom of cooked pie shell.
  19. Add the following
  20. ingredients
  21. in layers:
  22. Swiss
  23. cheese, sausage, Cheddar cheese, tomatoes.
  24. Stir together 2 slightly beaten eggs and 1 cup half andtalf.
  25. Pour over mixture and bake at 375u0b0 for 45 minutes.
  26. Cool 5 minutes before cutting.
