Salsa
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 medium serano chili
- 1 large yellow union
- 32 oz can of whole tomates
- 1 bunch cilantro
- 1 tablespoon season salt
- 1/4 cup lemon or lime juice
- 1. Add the garlic and serano into a food processor and blend until finely chopped.
- 2. Add the union to the food processor and blend until the union is chopped into dime sized chunks.
- 3. Add the can of tomatoes (including the juice) and and blend.
- 4. Cut the cilantro in half (half leaves, half stems). Add the cilantro to the food processor and blend until finally chopped. (Add the stems too for an extra cilantro taste).
- 5. Add the juice and salt and stir until fully mixed in.
- 5. Chill the salsa and serve.
- For a sweeter variation, add an apple to the mix the same time you add the unions.
