Grilled Chicken Lebanese Skewers
- 1 1/2 lbs Chicken breasts skinless boneless
- 6 garlic coves crushed
- 1 tsp salt(less is optional)
- 1/4 tsp 7 spice
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 TBLSP ketchup
- 1 TBLSP tomatoe paste
- 2/3 cup lemon juice fresh squeezed
- 2/3 cup canola oil
- Glass Bowl
- 10 8-inch lengths Metal skewers or 8 12-inch metal skewers
- Gas Grill pan
- Wash chicken breasts with lemon and running cold water,salt.
- Cut the chicken into small cubes about 1-inches thick. Put in a glass bowl and add the ingredients. Marinate for 2 hrs. This can also be marinated for next day.
- Before cooking:Wash chicken with lemon & salt in cold running water.
- Cooking:Thread the chicken into the skewers
- Prepare a gas grill on med-high heat and when hot,Cook in batches and cover with lid.
- Turn occasionally and total time about 9 mins.
- Remove when cooked and place in a plate covered with aluminum foil. Let stand a few minutes.
- Enjoy!
- Accompanied with fries or salad.
