Muesli Biscuits
- You need:
- 1 cup caster sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup muesli (not toasted)
- 125g. unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon golden syrup
- 1 teaspoon bi-carbonate of soda
- 1 tablespoon boiling water

- Method:
- Pre-heat oven to 160deg.C. Grease biscuit trays or line with Glad Bake.
- Place sugar, flour and muesli in a bowl and mix together. Place butter and golden syrup in a small glass bowl and heat in the microwave until the butter has melted. If a microwave is not available, then place ingredients into a small saucepan and heat on stove.
- Mix together the bi-carbonate of soda and boiling water and stir into the hot butter. Immediately add this to the dry ingredients and stir to mix thoroughly.
- Place spoonsful of mixture onto trays, allowing room to spread. Bake in oven about 12-15 minutes or until the biscuits are golden. Cool biscuits on wire racks until firm before storing in an airtight container.
