Barbecue Beef On A Bun

  1. Dry roast on paper towels.
  2. In a deep, heavy pot, heat oil and add roast.
  3. Brown on all sides.
  4. Add all the other ingredients. Cover and simmer slowly over medium to low heat for 3 to 4 hours until beef can be easily shredded.
  5. With two forks, shred the beef and mix into the sauce.
  6. Taste and add salt, if necessary. Serve on hot buttered buns.
