Pat & Sally'S White Chili
- Olive Oil
- 2 # cubed turkey breast (I use deli smoked turkey breast and have the deli cut it in one inch cubes.)
- 2 medium onions chopped
- 2 4oz cans chopped green chilis (drained)
- 4 cans chicken broth
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder or fresh garlic to taste
- 4 15oz cans Great Northern or White Beans (Don't Drain)
- 4 cans of white whole kernel corn (drained)
- 1 jar green salsa verde
- fresh limes
- cheddar cheese grated
- fresh cilantro
- sour cream
- rice or fritos or tortillas
- 1. In large pan pour oil and heat.
- 2. Add onions and saute until soft. If using fresh garlic add it with onions.
- 3. Add turkey and stir well.
- 4. Add all other ingredients before dotted line.
- 5. Simmer for at least one hour.
- 6. Serve with items below dotted line so that people can add what they most like with chili.
