Baked Stuffed Shrimp
- 1 pound fresh or frozen shrimp (larger ones, 12-15 count)
- 1 pound crab meat
- 2 slices fresh bread, crust removed, cubed
- 2 tablespoons mayo
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper sauce
- 1 teaspoon worestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 smaoll onion, minced
- 1/2 green pepper, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup melted butter ro margarine
- Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees
- Shell uncooked shrimp, leaving tails on. Split shrimp down the back and spread apart butterfly fashion.
- Combine crab meat, bread cubes, mayo, pepper sauce, worcestershire sauce, mustard and salt.
- Saute onion and pepper in 2 tablespooons melted butter until soft and add to crab mixture.
- Stuff shrimp with crab mixture.
- Place shrimp tail side up on greased shallow baking dish. Brush with remaining butter and bake about 15-20 minutes or until browned
