Creamed Spinich

  1. Clean spinich thoroughly; simmer in 1/4 cup boiling water until extremely tender (approx. 10 minutes).
  2. Drain spinich completely and allow to cool; chop to desired level.
  3. Melt 2T butter in large saute pan; add onion and garlic until slightly brown.
  4. Slowly stir in heavy cream, flour, and nutmet.
  5. Melt remaining butter slowly in small saute pan; mix in bread crumbs.
  6. When mixture is smooth and hot, add in spinich; toss over medium-low heat (approx. 3-5 minutes).
  7. Sprinkly bread crumb mixture over spinich mixture; serve immediately.
