Peanut Butter Hugs
- 1 cup Margerine
- 2/3 cup Smooth Peanut Butter
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 2 tsp Vanilla
- 22/3 cup Flour
- 2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 Package of Hershey's Hugs, (or Kisses if you prefer)
- Extra granulated sugar
- Preheat oven to 350
- In a mixing bowl, cream margerine and peanut butter. Mix in sugars until creamy.
- Add eggs and vanilla.
- In a seperate mixing bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt.
- Combine both mixtures.
- Roll dough into balls and roll in sugar until lightly covered.
- Bake 8-10 min
- When cookies have cooled slightly put on Hug on top of each, pressing it in slightly.
- * Make sure not to put the hugs on too soon as they will melt (though I've found out through trial and error they will re-solidify if left untouched over night, but what's the point in fresh cokies if you can't eat them right right away?)
