Fancy Franks

  1. Heat oven to 375u0b0.
  2. Slice each hot dog in half lengthwise. In a small bowl, crumble onions with your fingers.
  3. Reserve 2 tablespoons for topping.
  4. Combine potatoes, butter, onions, salt and pepper in a 9 x 13-inch dish and blend well.
  5. Combine soup and milk in a small bowl.
  6. Pour 3/4 of the soup mixture over the potato mixture and blend.
  7. Arrange hot dogs, cut side down, on top of potatoes.
  8. Sprinkle reserved 2 tablespoons onions on top and pour remaining soup mixture over onions.
  9. Bake uncovered for 25 minutes.
