Fancy Franks
- 1 lb. hot dogs
- 1 (3 1/2 oz.) can French fried onions
- 1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen shredded hash browns, thawed
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 (10 oz.) can cream of celery soup
- 1/3 c. milk
- Heat oven to 375u0b0.
- Slice each hot dog in half lengthwise. In a small bowl, crumble onions with your fingers.
- Reserve 2 tablespoons for topping.
- Combine potatoes, butter, onions, salt and pepper in a 9 x 13-inch dish and blend well.
- Combine soup and milk in a small bowl.
- Pour 3/4 of the soup mixture over the potato mixture and blend.
- Arrange hot dogs, cut side down, on top of potatoes.
- Sprinkle reserved 2 tablespoons onions on top and pour remaining soup mixture over onions.
- Bake uncovered for 25 minutes.
