Anis Christmas Cookies

  1. Sift dry ingredients in a very large mixing bowl. Add remaining ingredients and stir just to moisten. Don't over mix. Dough will be a little wet. Roll on a lightly floured board. Don't roll too thin about 1/4in. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes. DO NOT BROWN!
  2. Icing
  3. Cream the butter and sugar. Than add the rest of the ingredients.

margarine, white sugar, eggs, buttermilk, lemon, soda, baking powder, anise oil, flour, icing, butter, powdered sugar, cream, salt, vanilla
