Apple Strudel Puffs

  1. Preheat oven to 400*.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add in the butter and swirl it to coat the skillet, then add in the remaining ingredients for the apples. Let this simmer on medium heat for 15-20 minutes stirring occasionally until the apples are coated and softened.
  3. Remove and defrost the pastry shell as instructed on the package. Place it laying flat on a cutting board, then fill one side with the cooked apples.
  4. Pull the other side of the pastry over to make the ends meet.
  5. Slice it in 3 sections following the grooves of the pastry shell.
  6. Seal the edges with a fork.
  7. Place on a greased baking sheet.
  8. Combine the ingredients for the egg wash and brush it on each pastry.
  9. Bake for 20 minutes on 400*.
