White Pizza- Simply Culinary
- 1 10-12 oz pizza shell
- 1 pkg. fresh spinach
- 2 to 3 tablsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozarella cheese
- 1/4 cup alfredo sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
- Thouroughly rinse and spin dry the spinach. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large casserole dish, toss the spinach in olive oil, salt and papper. Place dish in hot oven to roast spinach for 10 minutes. Let spinach cool completely, then strain thoroughly using fine wire mesh strainer. Spread out pizza dough on a pizza pan covered in olive oil.
- Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees, with the lower rack in the lowest position. Spoon on alfredo sauce. Place roasted spinach around on the alfredo. Scatter the parmesan and mozarella, and then add small dabs of ricotta around the pizza. Cook 8-19 minutes on bottom rack or until crust is golden brown. Feel free to add other recipes as well.
