Now That'S Chili!!
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 1 medium green pepper, finely chopped
- 4 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 Tbsp. cider vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. allspice
- 1/4 tsp. coriander
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 1/2 tsp. salt or to taste
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 (16 oz.) can red kidney beans with liquid
- 2 c. canned crushed tomatoes
- Cook beef, garlic, onion and green pepper in heavy skillet over medium high heat, stirring to break up meat.
- Cook until onion is soft and meat has lost its pink color.
- Add remaining ingredients and bring to boil.
- Cover, reduce heat and simmer 45 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Do not substitute or leave out any ingredients.
- Truly delicious chili!
