Spiced Cafe' Au Lait

  1. First, brew your coffee. Next, in a samll pot simmer the milk, cloves, star anise and anise extract, nutmeg, cinnamon powder and cinnamon sticks, vanilla extract and sugar. Let milk simmer for about 5 minutes to infuse all the flavors of the spices. Then, when your coffee is done brewing, in a cup, put half coffee and half spiced milk mixture. With the remaining milk get out your hand emulsifier and emulsify milk until fluffy, frothy and light.
