Company Chicken And Mushrooms

  1. Remove skin from chicken, rinse and pat dry.
  2. In a small bowl mix salt, pepper and paprika.
  3. Rub into surface of chicken using all the mixture.
  4. In a crockpot, alternate layers of chicken, bouillon granules, mushrooms and green onions.
  5. Pour wine slowly over top.
  6. Do not stir.
  7. Cover and cook on high for 2 1/2 -3 hours or on low 5-6 hours or until chicken is tender, but not falling off the bone, basting only once.
  8. With a slotted spoon, remove chicken and vegetables to a serving platter.
  9. Cover with foil and keep warm.tn a small saucepan, stir evaporated milk and cornstarch until smooth.
  10. Gradually stir in 2 c. of cooking liquid from the crockpot.ttirring over medium heat, bring to a boil and boil for 1 to 2 minutes until thickened.
  11. Spoon some of the sauce over chicken and garnish with parsley.
  12. Serve remaining sauce separately.
