Edamame Cakes With Soy Drizzling Sauce

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add frozen, shelled edamame and cook for 5 - 10 minutes, until tender. Drain (and reserve some of the cooking water.) Pulse edamame, egg, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Do not puree. Add a touch of whole wheat flour to thicken or a touch of water to thin.
  2. Cook in a skillet with vegetable oil or extra virgin olive oil, about four minutes per side.
  3. Serve with brown rice.
