Prune Cake

  1. Melt, in saucepan, over low heat, butter or margarine.
  2. Add brown sugar.
  3. Cook and stir over low heat 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in milk.
  5. Cook and stir, over low heat, until mixture comes to a boil.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Cool to lukewarm or until the hand can be comfortably held on the bottom of pan.
  8. Stir in, about 1/2 cup at a time, powdered sugar.
  9. Beat until smooth and creamy.
