Chicken Swarma
- 4 boneless chicken breasts, cut into chunks
- 2 tsp. curry
- 2 tbs. olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp. pepper 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup plain greek style yogurt
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1tbs. lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 loaves pita bread
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 8 slices tomato
- Make a marinade: combine curry, olive oil, 1tsp. each of salt and pepper,and 4 cloves of garlic, and toss with cut up chicken breast. Marinate up to 8 hours ( at least 3).
- Make sauce: Combine yogurt,tahini lemon juice,1/2 tsp. each salt and pepper and 4 cloves garlic. Set aside.
- Thread the chicken on skewers and grill on gas grill High temp.) 4 minutes, then turn and grill other side for 4 minutes.
- Arrange chicken on the loaves of pita, top with sauce and garnish with lettuce and tomato.
