One-Dish Pork Chop Dinner

  1. Coat pork chops in flour; reserve excess flour.
  2. In a large Dutch oven, melt butter over medium-high heat.
  3. Brown chops on both sides.
  4. Season with pepper and salt if desired.
  5. Remove and set aside.
  6. Stir reserved flour into pan; cook and stir until a paste forms.
  7. Gradually whisk in 1 1/2 cups apple juice; blend until smooth.
  8. Return chops to Dutch oven; cover and bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes.
  9. Add potatoes, onions, carrots and remaining apple juice.
  10. Cover and bake 30 minutes longer.
  11. Top with cabbage; cover and bake 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until the chops are tender, basting occasionally with juices.
  12. Yield:
