Penne With Italian Sausage And Peppers

  1. Prepare pasta according to direcions on package.
  2. Meanwhile, in large saute pan, heat 1 tbsp. olive oil over medium heat. Add sausage and bacon and cook until browned. Add garlic, onion and peppers and suate until softened, 5-7 minutes. Add heavy cream and pepper flakes and bring to boil. Let thicken a few minutes. Add Marinara and let simmer 10 minutes.
  3. Add pasta to sauce. Add any pasta water to thin, if needed.
  4. Serve with a simple salad and crusty bread
