Shish Taouk
- 1 Ib chicken breast, bonned and cubed
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon of :cinnamon, nutmeg ,ginger, black pepper,ground cloves, allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon curry
- 2 tablespoon kechup
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoon oil
- 3 tablespoon water
- For Toum sauce:
- 5 garlic cloves ,minced
- 1/2 - 2/3 cup oil
- 3 tablespoon mayonnaise
- juice from half of lemon
- salt ,black pepper
- In a bowl, mix together all ingredients, except for chicken cubes.
- Place chicken in glass baking dish.Pour marinate over chicken in baking dish.Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about two hours.
- Bake in preheated 350u0b0F oven for approximately 15-20 minutes covered with aluminium foil and another 5-10 minutes uncovered .
- When ready, serve with lettuce, french fries and Toum Sauce
- Toum sauce:
- Place salt,garlic and lemon juice in a small bowl; add 1 teaspoon of oil- mix it, then gradually add remaining oil, remembering to mix it all the time while pouring oil.At the end, add mayo ,season with salt and black pepper-mix until well blended .
