S&E Portobello Sausage Burgers
- burgers:
- 2 portobellos
- 1/4 of a large onion
- 3 large garlic cloves chopped
- pinch of chipotle chili flakes2 3 tsp cinnamon
- 1 spicy italian sausage (from costco)
- red pepper mayo:
- mayo
- roasted red peppers (italian store)
- siracha
- cilantro (optional)
- toppings:
- fresh roasted red peppers
- red onion
- montery jack cheese
- butter lettuce
- cherry tomato slices (optional)
- sauteed crimini mushrooms
- avocado slices (optional)
- for burgers: chop and mince in mixer onion and mushroom. saute. once cooled, add sausage and spices with S&P. chill for 45 min.
- Mayo: puree mayo, roasted red peppers & siracha.
- bbq roasted red peppers and let sit in paper bag.
- bbq burgers and top with everything.
- enjoy!
