Green Bean Casserole
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- 1/4 cup dried onion
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 bags frozen green beans
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 or 3/4 cup Corn Flakes Crumbs
- 2-3 tablespoons butter
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Cook beans according to package, drain and set aside.
- Melt 2 tbps butter in large pot and then add flour,
- stirring constantly for 2 minutes.
- Add salt, sugar, onion and sour cream, stirring until warmed through. Mix in green beans.
- Place bean mixture in casserole dish, sprinkle top with cheddar cheese.
- Melt remaining 2 tbsp. butter and then add Corn Flakes Crumbs. Stir and then sprinkle on top of cheddar cheese.
- Bake at 350 until bubbly, about 35 minutes.
