New Pumpkin Pound Cake

  1. Have
  2. all ingredients room temperature.
  3. Beat margarine at medium speed 2 minutes. Gradually add sugar beating continuously over
  4. 7
  5. minutes.
  6. After
  7. 7 minutes, add eggs, one at a time, just until yellow disappears.
  8. Combine flour and next 6 ingredients.
  9. Combine
  10. pumpkin
  11. and
  12. next 2 ingredients. Begin with flour mixture and
  13. end with flour mixture. Alternate with pumpkin mixture.
  14. Mix at
  15. lowest
  16. speed
  17. just
  18. until
  19. blended. Grease well and flour a tube
  20. pan. Bake at 325u0b0 for 1 hour and 25 to 30 minutes. Test
  21. for doneness. Cool on rack 10 minutes. Remove from pan.
  22. Ice with a cream cheese icing.
